Bio: My name is Shawn McFadden Head Coach for the 2011 United States Martial Arts Team Arizona. I currently reside in Phoenix, Arizona. My path in Tang Soo Do began over four years ago. I am a Black Belt first Dan. As an assistant Instructor, I teach students’ knowledge and courage that I have learned through the years as a Martial Artist, and I aspire to own my own school soon, so that I can pass on this knowledge to others who desire the strength and courage of a Martial Artist. My achievement of winning the Gold and Silver at the U.S. States Martial Arts World Games in 2010 has given me the opportunity to be the Head Coach for Team Arizona. Arizona Martial Arts Team is scheduled to compete at the S.M.A.A.'s US Martial Arts Games on December 16 & 17, 2011 at Gaylord Palms Resort Florida.

Bio: I began my martial arts history in 2002 practicing and studying Tang Soo Do. I have participated in tournaments including forms, weapons, & sparring. After obtaining my 2nd Dan I became a co-instructor of a school in 2007. I received my 3rd Dan in 2010 and continue teaching karate through our Seniors program, Women Empowerment class, Power Pandas kids program, and the General Class. I look forward to competing and spreading the education of martial arts.

Bio: I'm a blessed and loving father, hard worker, disciplined martial artist, speed freak, and an all around adrenochrome type of guy! I believe in the old code of "death before dishonor" and pride myself on living a truly "martial" lifestyle. Everything in life stems from this foundation... Honor, Respect, Discipline and Balance! These are the cornerstones of my temple!!!

Bio: I am Logan Wilson and I am a 1st degree Black Belt who is testing for my 2nd degree very soon. I have trained in the style of Tang Soo Do since I was 4 years old. Now I am 14 and training once again under Master Umar Khalid and his father Grand Master Darryl Khalid. I have competed in many tournaments in my career and my best attribute at this point is my skills in weapons.

Kyle Robertson

Bio: I am Kyle Robertson, I am 9 years old and tested and received my 1st degree black belt in May 2009. I began my training in Tang Soo Do 2 weeks after I turned 5 years old. I have been training at Khalid's Martial Arts Academy since 2008. I currently assist with the beginner class at Khalid's Martial Arts. I have competed in numerous tournaments and was AZMARRS State Champion in Forms and Weapons for 2009. In addition, I received Jr. Grand Champion at the National Tang Soo Do Tournament in October 2010. I believe Tang Soo Do has given me the discipline in my life to acheive anything I try. I am excited to be a part of Team Arizona and can't wait to meet other martial artists from around the country and world.

Gabrielle Allgood

Bio: My name is Gabrielle Allgood and I was born on July 23, 1998. I started kartate in February of 2004. I was learning Chun Kuk Do and my Master was Tip Potter. In April of 2006 I changed schools and started learning Tang Soo Doo while training under Master Adam Thompson. In the middle of 2009 I moved to our parent school Khalid's Martial Arts Academy and continued my training with Grand Master Khalid and Master Umar. In May of 2010 I tested for black belt and it was presented to me in October of 2010. I am currently still training at Khalid's Martial Arts Academy and I hope to become an instructor in the future.

Carol Kozakiewicz

Bio: I started training in the martial arts in 1998 under the Wolf’s-Hurst Tae Kwon Do Clubs of America through the local junior college. Due to injuries I had to quit before I was able to test for my blue belt. I have all together studied four different styles of martial arts but I found my spirit in the Universal Tang Soo Do Alliance. I began my studies with Dynamic Impact Martial Arts in 2006. I tested and received my first degree black belt in May of 2010. I am currently using my education as a certified elementary school teacher to create and run the Power Panda Program at the studio where I train. My students range from age five to age eleven. I also assist my two instructors with the other three classes our studio offers. I am honored that I have made the first state team and can’t wait to have the chance to work with other martial artists and to compete with the best of the best. TANG SOO!!
